Food and Farming question from Marilyn Jones, Ragmans Lane Farm community supported agriculture scheme

At the Future of Local Food and Farming debate that took place at Newent Community School on 3 April 2009, Marilyn Jones put the following question to the panel:

In many places, Stroud for example, community supported agriculture schemes are operating, and one is currently being set up at Ragmans Lane Farm in the Forest of Dean. Do the panel think this idea could be taken up more widely and perhaps be a means of providing some security for farmers?
