At the Future of Local Food and Farming debate that took place at Newent Community School on 3 April 2009, Kate de Selincourt submitted the following question:

We believe that abundant local wildlife and biodiversity, great and small, is absolutely the basis of a healthy, resilient food supply. Could the panel say if they agree, and if so, say a bit about why biodiversity is important in what they do?(We ran out of time before this question could be put to the panel.)
